In 1970s, he formed a trio with famous bass player  Yoshizawa Motoharu and sax player Takagi Mototeru and recorded his first  album with the New Direction led by guitarist Takayanagi Masayuki.  After that , he collaborated with many outstanding improvisation  musicians, such as Kaoru Abe, Derek Bailey, Peter Brötzmann, Han  Bennink, and Takehisa Kosugi. He is now in his concert tour around the  world with the Taiwanese musician Luo Chao-Yun.Luo Chao-Yun (pipa)http://www.myspace.com/pipawomanThe  only PIPA (traditional Chinese guitar lute) player who plays  traditional music to free jazz improvisation and experimental  avant-garde in the contemporary music world. She is Taiwan’s famous  professional Pipa Soloist/improviser, Luo Chao-yun, is a virtuoso  performer on the Chinese traditional string instrument “PIPA”. She  received the master’s degree in Pipa performance at the Central  Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Luo Chao-yun has performed recitals,  concertos with orchestra, multimedia-performances, improvisation  performances, embassy concerts, and etc. in Beijing (many times),  Malaysia (2 times), Singapore, Portugal, Pakistan, Nepal, Costa Rica (2  times), Italy, USA (3 times), UK (4 times), the Netherlands (3 times),  Brazil (2 times), Paraguay, Bulgaria, Japan (2 times), North Cyprus,  Turkey, Indonesia (2 times), Philippines (2 times) and etc. She also has  master classes, and lectures in these countries, too.Lee Shih-Yang (piano) A  Taiwanese pianist performing both classical music and improvised music,  especially in free improvisation field, his music emerges in a creative  and imaginary way with unpredictable development. He also leads an  imprivisation group “Caught Up In”. Among the artists he collaborated  with are Gene Coleman, Klaus Bru, Lin Hui-Chun, Luo Chao-Yun and etc..Yi-Rui Huang (sax) Childhood  to the development of classical music as the background, mainly flute  and other woodwind-based. Learning drums at the age of 17, and joined  the rock music of learning. Or have joined during some of the rock band,  is still working with that for example: “Brain Roller”. And important  experience of the experimental music and free jazz it is to join the  band of “Heavy egg hell dog” (2006-2010), on that time, it may be very  few that public performances of music types in Taiwan . Also at this  time, and is often the major venues in Taipei, livehouse or gallery  performances, recordings production also lot, in four years, has  recorded about 400 archived works. Worth mentioning : co-operation with  André Van Rensburg performances, performances of his album released in  2007, learned the music part of Zen is a very special experience. And  the philosophy of studying has also strengthened the significance of the  relationship between symbols and music. Recordings broadcasted at Taipei’s classic radio station in  1997. Live performance since 2002, he plays varoius instruments,  electronics, laptop and junks in Taipei, Taichung and Kaoshiung.During  his abroad study years(2004~10), Yingfan get connected with Osaka’s  underground/noise scene, and performed with artists and musicians such  as the choreographer SUMI Masayuki, er-hu(chinese fiddle) performer  MUKAI Chie, guitarist YAMAMOTO Seiichi, digital musician INAMI Sunao and  ISHIGAMI Kazuya, as well as Osaka’s riot-girl duo AFRIRAMPO. Member of  legengary scum band ULTRA FUCKERS between 2008 and 2009.Yingfan’s  works appear on several compilations such as”LOBO 2”, ”B!AS sound arts”,  ”C.U.E. COMPILATION 2”, “TAIWAN FREE SOUND”, etc. Albums in limited  copies, or released online are about 100 items.
